Wesley Retirees
If you are retired and looking for a fun group to join, try joining the Wesley Retirees on the second Wednesday of the month at 11:30 a.m. in the Aldersgate room. Each month they have an informative program and once a year they plan a trip to a dinner theater. They also have an annual Christmas party at a local restaurant.
Wesley Women’s Group
This group meets on the second Thursday of the month and they meet at 1:30 p.m. in the Aldersgate room. Each month there are devotions given and a program is presented. This group holds an annual Soup and Bake sale in November which involved everyone at the church. So if you are looking for a women’s group to attend, give consideration to joining this group.
Wednesday Night Prayer Group
On Wednesday evenings at 5:45 we have a prayer group that meets in the chapel for a time of prayer. This group prays for the church, our congregation and our neighbors. They meet for one hour and this might be a group you might want to join.

Wesley youth grades 6-12 are part of an ecumenical youth group with the Hodge Presbyterian and First Christian Church. This group meeting during the school year on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the participating churches on a rotation basis. This year they will meet at Hodge Presbyterian in the months of September, December, and March. They will meet at First Christian Church during the months of October, January and April. In November, February, and May they will meet at Wesley. If you have a student that fall in these grades, have them join this group!
SEWING GROUP
There is a new sewing group forming here at Wesley that will meet on the third Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Pine Room. The first meeting will be on January 18, 2017! Their focus will be making blankets and other items for missions. They also want to emphasize that you don’t have to know how to sew to join this group! They will need people who can sew, press and cut out material. There are also plans to hold some Saturday afternoon occasionally, so watch the newsletter and bulletins for those dates.
OTHER GROUPS
Wesley has other groups that meet however not on a regular basis such at a Book Study group, Wesley Singers, and Cantata choir. Watch the newsletter and bulletins for dates and times for these groups.
